The Mexican renewable energy market has developed rapidly over the past two years. It is estimated that by 2021, Mexico’s new energy will occupy 30% of all local energy. According to the current development, the installed capacity of photovoltaics in Mexico is expected to reach 14.1GW in 2021. And Mexico is expected to become the seventh largest solar market in the world. With the cancellation of the import tariff on 15% of PV modules by the Mexican government in June 2018, the import volume of PV Modules in Mexico will further increase.
